Students pursuing a degree in Communication prepare themselves for a broad range of employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors. The Communication Department Undergraduate Program offers the following degree track options: General Communication, Media Studies, Digital Filmmaking, Professional Communication (Organization, Strategic, Leadership), and Sports Communication. Students may also earn a General Communication degree completely online. The General Communication track allows students to prepare for a career in communication with courses tailored to the individual student’s interests and career objectives. Undergraduate Degree Options
A Bachelor of Arts in Communication requires 36 credits in Communication courses, at least 18 of which must be upper-division (3000-level or higher).
