Nate Southard is an author and filmmaker. His films have screened at a variety of festivals, including GenreBlast, Chattanooga Film Festival, and the Atlanta Horror Film Festival. A nominee for the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction, his books include Bad Dogs, Porcelain, and Will the Sun Ever Come Out Again?

Nate received his Bachelor of Science in Screenwriting from University of Texas at Austin and later studied Emerging Media at Austin Community College, where he now teaches screenwriting, film production, and television technology.
